Cuyahoga…an unusual national park
Today we explored Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. Affectionately nicknamed “America’s Most Accessible National Park” Cuyahoga definitely is…different…than any of the other National Parks we’ve been to.

Today we visited Cuyahoga Valley National Park—sometimes referred to as “America’s most accessible national park” due to its extremely close proximity to urban areas. And we learned that “America’s muddled mess of a national park” might be a fitting title, too.
And so it begins…
…on a beautiful warm day, the first day of Autumn! They say every journey begins with a single step. Ours began with 485 miles of open road and blue skies. 🙂
First stop: Akron, Ohio
After roughly 8 hours on the road, we’ve arrived at our first destination: Akron, OH!
