We Do America!

Scenes from the Montana roadside

We’re checked into a tiny motel outside the eastern edge of Glacier National Park for the next few days. Walking around the town—which consists of a train station and about six buildings—it feels like we’ve stepped back in time at least 30 years.

We didn’t get a chance to go into Glacier yet, as we arrived pretty late in the day, but the six-hour drive from Billings was pretty scenic. Lori drove (I still have PTSD after my encounter with the Bridger Police Department yesterday!), so I had plenty of time to take in the sights.

I’m trying to get to bed so we can get an early start tomorrow, so I’m just going to share some views from the road and call it a day (click for larger images):

Thanks! I took it from the car while Lori was driving like a maniac on these crazy Montana highways, so it’s a little blurry at full size. But I like it anyway!
